Personality & Traits

General Overview Dominic is a very casual and yet authoritative person. He can remain level headed even in the most stressful situations. Dominic is a capable leader. He has an aptitude for advanced medicine and psychology.
Ambitions Dominic has thoroughly enjoyed his time with Starfleet Medical, and hopes to continue to serve in any capacity until he retires.

After retiring from Starfleet, he hopes to open a small practice in New York City and continue his work well into his old age.
Hobbies & Interests Dominic enjoys spending time with his two children. Together they have taken many trips together, and seen several important sights in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

Personal History Born in New York City to Darius and Anne. Dominic grew up in the family Townhouse n the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He was raised by his mother, while his father was serving as an Ambassador for the Federation. His mother was a Civilian Doctor and would frequently bring Dominic to the office with her. It was during these formative years that Dominic decided he too wanted to work in the medical field.

At age 17, Dominic began his Pre-Med studies at the Coulmbia University and completed his doctorate, before transferring his studies to Starfleet Academy .

His years at the Academy were most rewarding. Despite the work load being heavy, Dominic loved the lessons in his Medical Studies, and his core Starfleet classes. He excelled in his studies, and recieved commendations from a few of his instructors.

Just as he was coming up on his graduation from the Academy, he received word that his father was killed during an attack on his Embassay on Cardassia. Dominic raced home to be by his mother's side. Two months later, his mother also passed away.

Following the death of his parents, and his graduation from Starfleet Academy, with commission to the rank of Ensign, Dominic was assigned to the USS Demeter for his medical residency. It was here that he decided to take a specialty in Psychiatry. He completed Three years aboard the Demeter before being promoted to the rank of Junior Grade Lieutenant.

With his promotion, Dominic accepted a transfer to the USS Hypatia, where he would serve as Assistant Chief Medical Officer. After several years aboard Hypatia , Dominic (affectionately known as Dr. Dally), met Jennifer.Love happened fast in their case, and within a few months they married and Jennifer was pregnant. During Jennifer's pregnancy , Dominic turned down a transfer to stay with her. Their first child, Jenson, would be born on Hypatia. shortly after the birth, the young family moved together to Starbase 13

Aboard Starbase 13 Dominic served as Assistant Medical Officer, and Jennifer took leave to raise their son. Starbase 13 was definitely a departure from what both were used to, but it offered a stability they needed in the child's formative years. After almost two years, Jennifer was once again pregnant, this time with a girl. Dominique would be born aboard SB13, and the family would stay only one year more.

It was at Jennifer's request that Dominic accepted a transfer to the USS Carpathia. He found that he enjoyed serving on both stations and ships. Carpathia offered him the opportunities to work with Doctors from many different species through the Medical Exchange Program.

Before long, an opportunity arose to serve on a Federation Medical Station. Something Dominic could not refuse. With the children now toddlers, Jennifer requested reactivation and was assigned to USS Hudson. The children stayed with Dominic, as it was decided that staying on a station would be best.as Jennifer departed, Dominc was given the position of Deputy Director of Medical Sevices. While aboard he soon realized why the posting was available. The station was antiquated and falling apart.

As the Dominion War came towards it's close, the USS Hudson with Jennifer aboard saw action in a last ditch attempt by the Dominion to retain their position. Unfortunately the Hudson was lost with all hands aboard.

Distraught at the death of his wife, Dominic requested transfer out and, at the recommendation of one of his former instructors, was presented the opportunity to serve on the experimental USS Buckingham as Chief Medical Officer. The posting was a fantastic opportunity for him, and he got to work with some of the most advanced technology in the fleet.

Dominic notes his assignment aboard the Buckingham as a high point in his career, and it is his longest post. However, never one to stay tied down, he accepted a transfer to the USS Healy as Chief Medical Officer.
